Partner Spotlight: Xbox

Author: Movember
Xbox Canada is partnering with the Movember Foundation for a 3rd year in a row to raise funds and awareness around men’s health. Movember is thrilled to have Xbox back on board bigger, and better than ever.

Xbox is back as the title sponsor of the Movember university campus challenge U of Mo – formerly known as Big Moustache on Campus, where university students across Canada, team up and raise money to change the face of men’s health. Xbox will be offering prizing and will award one Xbox One S to the top fundraiser in the U of Mo challenge.

Xbox also owns a great piece of real estate inside Movember Canada’s headquarters, in downtown Toronto. Be sure to stop by the Movember House at 588 Richmond Street West to check out the fully outfitted Xbox Lounge, featuring the brand-new Xbox One X.

The Xbox Lounge will also host the brand-new Xbox Live Sessions featuring influential celebrities testing out the Xbox One X. Select special guests will be playing their favorite video games as well as getting up close and personal to talk about men’s health on the livestream. Be sure to check out Mixer or Xbox Canada’s Facebook Page to catch the Movember episodes of Xbox Live Sessions.

The first episode of Xbox Live sessions at the Movember HQ will feature a professional hockey player, leader, mentor, and fan favorite, Toronto Maple Leaf, Left Winger: Matt Martin. Martin will be playing the Call of Duty: WWII on the newly released Xbox One X console.

The second edition of Xbox Live Sessions will feature two professional basketball players from the Toronto Raptors - Delon Wright and Normal Powell. The young raptors will be battling it out on the virtual hardwood in NBA LIVE 18 to see who will be crowned champion.

Be sure to check out Xbox Canada’s Facebook Page on Tuesday, November 14th to see how Martin’s skills on the ice translate to COD!
