I’ve spent years in emergency rooms, in clinics, and in quiet hospital hallways watching men slip through the cracks... The truth is, most of the men we lose to suicide never come waving red flags. They joke. They “power through.” They say they’re fine… right up until they’re not.

As a physician, I’ve looked into the eyes of families who never saw it coming. I’ve signed charts that should’ve been stories of recovery, not endings. And it never gets easier.

That’s why I support Movember. Because if we don’t talk about men’s mental health, we keep losing the ones who think suffering in silence is strength…and I refuse to stay silent about that.
