Our Motivation

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and we want to help them get there. Help us stop people dying too young.

The following staff from Bev Facey High School are participating in Movember:
Grant Glowinski, Matthew Wilson, Steve Milton, Ken Wlos, Josh Willard, Michel Lacoursiere, Kevin Robinson, and Andrew Sutherland.

Grant Glowinski

Our school goal was to beat the Nile! It's 6,650 km long from start to finish. Over 60 students and almost 20 staff joined in on the challenge. On Movember 27th at 1:52 p.m. we hit 6,660 km! Thanks to everyone for helping us out!
