Wayback Recap - Chicago Marathon for Movember back on October 13th was amazing! Spent time with some great people, enjoyed the City on a little getaway with Tara, and had a fantastic race day! Ran a personal best of 2:46 and motivated to MOVE more (after some time to rest :)

Had a blast with the family on Sunday supporting one of our other favourite charities, at our local Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research! I have less than a month to go until I run the Chicago Marathon for Movember, and am training hard to earn my donations! I must raise $1,000 by race day on October 13, 2024. Please consider contributing to support men's health.

Very thankful to be able to get back to MOVEment in 2024. During Movember 2023 I was dealing with an injury that finally started to get better in spring 2024 (thanks to my medical/physio team!). I have ambitious MOVE goals for Movember this year, but first I wanted to share an amazing experience from this summer. I had the privilege to travel to Sweden to compete in the 1500 metres at the World Masters Athletics Championships, with many of my Newmarket Huskies teammates and friends. There were some dark days during my 10-month layoff from running, but in the end it was very rewarding to persevere and fulfill the dream of representing Canada!

Partial recap of the month - went very well from a MOVE perspective! I beat my goal of 300 km, or 10k+/day. And at the National Cross-Country Championships in Ottawa, I was fifth in the masters race and bronze in my age group (as part of a great team, Newmarket Huskies). Check out some pics from my Dad!

It was amazing to be able to bring more of my family to the game, and I have to give huge thank yous to all my supporters over the years - without your continued support since the inaugural 2019 game, I don't think I would even have been considered this time. Post 3 of 3.
