My motivation

My father is a survivor of prostrate cancer. This is why I started getting involved with this great cause. My great grandfather sporting a stash with grandfather.

After being away for a few years, this year I decided to get involved again after losing a close friend someone I considered truly part of my family. His name was David RIsk.

Thank-you for your commitment and support.

We've now arrived at Movember 30 and everyone in this challenge should pause for a moment to reflect on an amazing job done, what can only be described as an epic 'stache and an impressive commitment to help change the face of men's health.

As Mo season is coming to a close, I want to flag that the leaderboards will officially close on Thursday, December 7th at 5 pm EST, marking the moment we crown our 2023 Movember champions of each challenge. While donations can still be received after this time, please note that they won't contribute to the leaderboard race.

Thanks for all you have done this year and will continue to do as we move forward.

I got back involved with Movember because of a close family friend, David Risk. David a childhood friend of my boys was always one of our own. David took his life last year after battling his personal demons, far too often afflicting many men. I never fathomed David taking his own life. This frightened me, couldn't believe it, didn't see "the signs". Harsh reality is that there are often no signs, people suffer in silence. It breaks my heart David may have suffered in silence. David was a great young man, talented musician, friend. He was one of my boys, and left his mark in our lives. We loved Dave, he will never be forgotten.
