My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Last year was my very first attempt at raising funds and awareness for Movember and was blown away by the love and support I received!

Why am I doing this? Well for a few big reasons really!

Last year in the spring of 2020 my uncle Pete got diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and I decided that I was going to grow a mustache in support of him. After all my uncle Pete has had his mustache since he was only 15 years old, so what better way to pay tribute to him than to grow a mustache and raise awareness and funds for many Men's health initiatives!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love hockey and the Montreal Canadiens. And anyone who knows me knows how much I love Carey Price! Well this fall Carey took it upon himself to seek help. Something that I feel is taking a step in the right direction for Men's health and ending the stigma around the world with high profile athletes. He's setting a great example to say "Hey I'm not okay I need help".

I also want to talk about myself here for a minute, I don't like to talk much about it but I live daily with anxiety and depression. It's something I struggle with everyday. I know many people like me who struggle. I would like to end the stigma surrounding men's mental health. Last year I wasn't feeling okay and I felt I needed to step away from work to take care of my mental health because I was in a very dark and depressing mindset. I knew that if I couldn't take care of myself how could I take care of those around me. I am much better because of the action I took to put myself first.

I encourage all of you men out there to go out there and grow a mustache a support a great cause!
