Prostate cancer

In 2013 my father got diagnosed with prostate cancer. He was lucky as it was detected early on and most of it was removed. He hasn't had any major issues since (aside from initially learning how to hold his bladder without his prostate which involved stomach muscle training and diapers). He still has to get his PSA levels checked every half year and he just had a small increase which could be a new tumor cell growing. He's waiting on a CT scan to determine if there is a visible tumor cell.

Once I'm 35 (scary, that's only 3 years away) it is recommended that I get my PSA levels checked on a regular basis as prostate cancer can run in the family.

Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
