Our Motivation

In a joint effort between career and POC members the Campbell River Fire Department is raising money for Mental Health and suicide awareness. In the ever changing environment of the first responders work scope we are doing our part to advance the medical help needed to deal with the issues of our job.

We’re well over half of our Movember goal - and honestly, Mark Myles and I feel incredibly grateful. Every donation, message, and bit of support means more than we can say.

When this started, it was just about shaving the beard for a cause.. but it’s turned into something bigger - seeing friends, family, and even strangers come together for men’s health and mental wellness.
