Our Motivation

The brothers of the Lambda Chi Alpha Toronto chapter are proud to support an organization that is changing the face of men’s health and making a difference for men all around the world.

Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying, on average, 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. Unchecked, prostate cancer rates will double over the next 15 years. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men aged 15-39 years of age. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 75% of all suicides.
The Movember Foundation is working toward a world where men of all ages take action to be mentally healthy and well and are supported by their friends, family and community during tough times. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men. By 2030, Movember’s aim is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.

We are raising funds and awareness for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. Please help us reach our 2023 fundraising goal by donating to our page, and help us stop men from dying too young!
