Our Motivation

Thanks to world-leading researchers and physicians, as well as strategic investments by our government, BC has ‎the lowest cancer incidence and highest survival rates in Canada. But too many of our family members, friends, and neighbours still need our support to avoid cancer - or to beat it. That's why we're working hard to meet or beat our Movember success in 2015. Make a real difference now - support our team and help us change the face of men's health in Canada.

The prevalence of prostate cancer in my family necessitated early screening, and I have been going in for a physical examination since I turned forty. Sadly, Covid interrupted the ability to schedule annual physicals the past few years, but I had a date with my GP today. Early detection can be a life-saver, so if you have Prostate cancer in your family, they suggest physical exams starting at age 40, otherwise you should look to making a date with your GP by age 50.

Huge thanks to Mo-Sister Shala Robins for organizing a Movember Bakesale as part of our Fun-Razing efforts for team BC Liberals. A whopping $586. Was raised!!

This team hasn't posted any activities yet. Encourage them to get out there and embrace their sweaty Mo.
Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
