Our Motivation

Sometimes you get a wake up call…
And sometimes you need one!

Growing up, I was raised with strong beliefs, norms, attitudes and stereotypes of masculinity. My idols were wrestlers, athletes and entrepreneurs and as far as I could tell they were invincible. I believed ‘real men’ need to be strong and not show any weakness.

I realized I was wrong.

Given the current circumstances regarding COVID-19, isolation among men is more present, and medical services have become more difficult to access. Although there are no miracle solutions, joining the Movember movement allows us to open a dialogue about the causes of untimely death among men, and sharing information is what we commit to doing every October and November.

We're doing this for the men in our community who are struggling, and on a personal level, for someone close to me who recently passed from prostate cancer.

I'll match every donation I receive. I hope you'll join us as we attempt to reach our goal!
