My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

This year I've made it my goal to: (1) rally 30 people to our Movember team to raise $30k in the month, and (2) I will be running an Olympic Triathalon (1.5km ocean swim, 40km bike, 10km run) WHILE carrying/dragging a 4-foot wooden moustache with me for the entirety of the journey.

Why am I doing this you ask?

I never got to meet my grandfather. He died by suicide when I was only a few months old. To this day I often wonder what I missed out on. What I could have learned from him. What memories could have been made if things had been different.

So this is for him.

With 3/4 of all suicides being by men, it’s unfortunately not an uncommon story. Poor mental health is a killer, and it’s hitting the men in our lives.

To do it I'm going to grow a pretty questionable moustache.

Please donate if you‘d like to help me reach my goal.

Mo Love and thank you.

Hi Mitch, Jay here! Thanks for the lovely message and words of encouragement! The Vancouver Men’s Chorus team is a small but mighty one, and we’d love to have your support over the final two weeks of Movember. Please email me at jcatters@gmail.com; it would be great to hear from you and perhaps get your help to inspire the VMC guys to help, participate and donate!
