This is the hardest Movember for me yet. My dad died this year. He was the reason I started participating in Movember and doing it with him gone feels really heavy. He wasn't what most would consider too young, and I'm grateful I got so much time with him. But I'd have loved a little more.

When I think about how his loss weighs on me, losing him at 46, I can only imagine what it feels like for the people who lose someone so much earlier in their time together.

Regardless of why men die too young, their loss changes the people left behind. 
But we can stop men dying too young. With research, care, and well executed programming, men's lives can be extended, and the sadness of an early loss can be avoided.

I've always done Movember for my dad. Since I became a dad, my own son has become one of my main motivators. With my dad gone, I'm looking to the future and the hope I feel for what we can achieve together.
