My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young. At about 4:40 October 13, 2021 I was diagnosed as having prostate cancer.

I was told that typically it is rated as low medium or high risk and that mine is considered in the medium risk category.
My specialist has indicated it is treatable.
It certainly shows that I was wise in having the PSA test done these past years.
I have had prostate cancer surgery June 29, 2022 and testing shows all clear now. I took physio therapy twice a week to help regain my bladder control. I rejoined my firefighting duties Oct 23, 2022. more surgery may be needed to help regain full bladder control (it is better than a year ago but not back to full control) I'm waiting for an appointment to go over my options .)I have benefitted from previous Movember fund raising and hope all will help to continue to raise funds for such a worthy cause.
