Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young. At about 4:40 October 13, 2021 I was diagnosed as having prostate cancer.
I was told that typically it is rated as low medium or high risk and that mine is considered in the medium risk category.
My specialist has indicated it is treatable.
It certainly shows that I was wise in having the PSA test done these past years.
I went for the second opinion appointment yesterday (Nov 29,2021)
I stared hormone therapy last night with pills and will get my first injection of hormone therapy Dec 6, 2021 with a second in 3 months.
