11 years of Movember! I’m now 6 years Cancer free (Testicular Cancer 2016) and doing Movember again!
It’s so important to talk about self checks, seeing doctors and reaching out when things get tough. We can change the stigma on mental health and the way guys communicate, and we can stop men from dying too young.
So start conversations, reach out, and move! Exercise is so important for physical health and mental health! Commit to moving 60km in the month. That’s 60km for 60 men who take their own life every hour. Together we can change the stigma and start to change the way we deal with problems!
Congratulations Rick Mamye on confirming your registration for NYCM 2019 and welcome aboard. We now have 5 Australians(4+1), 3 Canadians and 6 Americans among the 14 confirmed. Katie Elizabeth(AUS) had her own entry and is running with us and I hope to see Kevin Ackhurst, Isobelle Smith and Zac Thomas the rest of the Aussies in the Team join us soon ...
You can see more about my story and why I love doing Movember in this video. I was lucky enough to help be a spokesperson for Movember during Testicular Cancer Awareness Month
