My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer

It's been several years since I last participated in Movember, but it's long time I get back in the moustache game.

Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer affecting Canadian men, representing roughly 20% of all new cancer cases. It was also the third leading cause of death from cancer in men in Canada, estimated to cause some 4,600 deaths in 2022. Combined, both prostate and testicular cancers were responsible for over 25,000 new cancer cases in Canadian men last year alone.

The statistics are alarming enough, but for me this hits close to home as well. Over the past several years, my uncle, my cousin's husband, and one of my closest friends have all unfortunately suffered from various forms of cancer, including both prostate and testicular. I feel compelled to stand with them and join in the campaign to help raise money for cancer research, and awareness for early screening and detection. All of us guys should screen regularly for Prostate and Testicular cancer - early detection and intervention significantly improves the prognosis for both. If we stand together against cancer, it can make a hell of a difference!
