This page was created by his nieces and nephews as a way to continue Ricks legacy while supporting a cause important to us all. We miss him dearly. Donations through our page will help Men everywhere better access mental health resources and use them to their full potential.

John Richard "Rick" Hergel passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019, at the age of 59. Richard attended York University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies. He proudly served as a Lieutenant in the 48th Highlanders of Canada Reserve Unit and enjoyed flying as an amateur pilot. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
