My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Why I Mo: Like a lot of people the past few years have been incredibly trying and challenging, and my mental health has suffered the most. After years of refusing to acknowledge it, I reached my tipping point and made the decision to address my mental health challenges head-on. Like many men I know first-hand how hard it can be hard to seek or ask for help due to the fear of being perceived as weak. It wasn't something I wanted to admit but now that I have, it's helped me to understand a lot of the emotions I've been feeling and to slowly start taking the steps to address them.

This needs to change - being okay with feeling vulnerable is important and where the real healing begins. Let everything you've been keeping inside out, try to understand why you're having these emotions, and start having those tough conversations you've been dreading - trust me, it helps.

My hope is that by sharing my experience with mental I can encourage others to look inward and start to take steps to address their own mental health and/or be the support for someone on their own journey :) - Stef
