My motivation

When I was 12 years old I lost my dad to suicide. It’s a long story, but this year during the middle of November, November 11 to be exact, my oldest child, my 12 year old son, will have had a dad ONE day longer than I did. It may seem like a strange personal goal to have, but all I wanted for my kids is to have a dad longer than I did. It was a weird thing to think after I had kids. Just live. Just stay alive for them. And this year, it’s the year. My kids will have a dad!

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.
