My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

6th Campaign as Country Director for Movember Canada, and more motivated than ever. Not only am I pumped at the amazing investments we are making in men's health ($18m for Indigenous men's health, $7m in new prostate cancer funding, drafting the first Real Face of Men's Health Report for Canada in June 2025), but this year it is extremely personal.
In September, my best pal and DJ partner passed away. Swiftly and brutally after a diagnosis with kidney cancer. He had to have been living with the illness and the pain for some time before that, I've had many sleepless nights wondering why. What prevented him from getting the care he deserved? Fear, experiences of racism, doubt and skepticism with the medical system, stubbornness, uncertainty, and a lot of fear. He may have died due to cancer, but his suffering may have been because we haven't solved for men's health. These are the spaces we are moving into with Movember, so men live longer, healthier, happier lives.
