My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Men's health
Testicular cancer

Welcome to my 6th year of fundraising for Movember!

My goal is to raise awareness for men’s health, specifically testicular cancer. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer when I was only 24 years old and the major reason I was able to survive this was that I was willing to ask for help as soon as something didn’t feel right. Early detection is the key to survival and I am glad I am here today to tell my story and use this platform to raise awareness for the people in my life.

My biggest goal by participating in Movember each year is to help give men the confidence and knowledge to seek medical advice if something is up. Just because they are called private parts, doesn’t mean they always have to be private.  
As a commitment for Movember I will be running one hundred miles in the month to challenge myself and thank everyone for the donations. As a little kicker, every mile ran will be done outside, no wussying out on the treadmill indoors.
