Who's in the mood for sentimental jazz? You are? Of course you are, I mean, who isn't? This Movember, I'll be bringing you three, four... maybe five songs to help slow your roll, soothe your soul, and raise funds for men's mental health and suicide prevention.

Who's ready for some sentimental jazz?

Once again, I'm merging my amateur piano habit with Movember to raise funds for men's health with the mighty Morgan Stanley Montreal team.

No Bach this time, sorry. I'm aiming for a chiller vibe: a Sentimental Jazz Playlist. Stay tuned for four or five tracks to help slow your roll, soothe your soul, and movtivate you to support men's health.

This week, I bring you Track One, the great jazz standard, Autumn Leaves, chosen because it's a) lovely and b) seasonally appropriate. Sit back, enjoy, and then donate at https://lnkd.in/e7Z8X7Xq.

All donors will be credited on future tracks, and I WILL be taking requests! (Enthusiasm levels will vary according to donation amount.) So if you have a favorite tune, and the tune is sentimental and jazz, comment below.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Well this is it folks! My first ever "Bach in Movember" recording of the Prelude and Fugue 15, in the sunny key of G major, from Bach's second book of the Well-Tempered Clavier.

10 days to go, folks! In this short episode I homilize briefly on the topic of public radio fund drives in order to plead with you--my kind and generous followers plus unsuspecting members of my LinkedIn network--to donate to my Movember campaign.

Best wishes to you, my old friend! Forgive my late coming, but I'll contribute in a few days. Meantime, here's your pal's pathetic soup strainer in solidarity.

At the end of week one this Movember, there is growth on my face, progress on the piece, and a t-shirt befitting the moment.
