My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. 60 men every hour globally are taking their lives. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Help me stop men dying too young.

When I was 10 years old, my dad who was struggling with a gambling addiction and mental illness, reached out to our family doctor..but he could not make it through the week before his appointment. He took his life on the train tracks of my home town. Had he known he could reach out to a friend to talk, to be vulnerable, to get it off his chest, I would have been able to grow up with a father.

I have had my struggles as well. Im raising money for mens mental health and suicide prevention, and I want to be apart of breaking down the stigma that is still so prevalent. I want to do this by spreading the message that everything in our life..everything, is happening FOR each of us. Not too us. No matter what it is. That means that any mental health struggles we experience, are to be embraced as part of our unique path in this life. Not something to hide, but something to share with our family, friends, and people we meet. Instead, something to cherish and lean into, as a means to grow into the person we are meant to be.
