My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

As one becomes "middle aged", one becomes more aware of health issues and the need for preventative measures to avoid health problems if possible and resolving issues early if they arise.

Men are generally bad at going to the doctor for regular checkups. I make an appointment each November. Don't ignore how you're feeling - changes in your physical condition as well as mental state of mind. Problems don't just go away on their own.

My Dad passed away after an 18 month fight against prostate cancer. Had his condition been diagnosed sooner, the outcome might have been different.

The Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men's health, so this Movember I'm getting on board. I'm raising funds to tackle some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and poor mental health.
