My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

It was February 2020 that I first noticed the lump in my neck, both my wife and I knew what it was, even without an official diagnosis. The first biopsy would come back with the results that the tumor was benign, and there was a brief hope that we were wrong. However, in July a Lumpectomy would lead us to the truth, I was diagnosed with HPV associated Head and Neck Cancer.

My family's lives were thrown into complete turmoil.

What followed next was a series of appointments, consultations, surgeries and preparation for radiation and chemotherapy. My seven weeks of treatment would end on October 27th and my recovery would begin.

So far, my journey has been a positive one. From the moment I was diagnosed I received incredible care from my many medical practitioners. My family physician, my surgeon, the oncologists, dentists, nurses and dietitians, everyone involved was so very loving and caring. My prognosis is good, and I continue to heal and progress. If all goes well, I should be out of the woods entirely by March of 2022.
