Our Motivation

Mo’s and hose make a lot of sense together… Firefighters are exposed to many health concerns at a much higher rate than the average person, including various cancers and mental health issues.
As firefighters, we have lost many brothers to occupational cancers over the years. Kelly Hamilton is one of the latest. This campaign is meant to honour not only him but all those who have passed before him.

The Beijing International Ice Hockey League sends a big cheer from the rink to the Regina Firefighters crew. Our Movember fundraiser night was full of music, laughs, and very questionable moustaches, but every note and every dollar was for you.

Your message about Mo’s and hose hits hard. Firefighters face risks that most people never see, and too many good people, like Kelly Hamilton, have been lost. We wanted to honour him, and all the brothers before him, by coming together as a community and giving back.

Thanks for the work you do, the lives you protect, and the courage you show every day. From Beijing to Regina, we’re proud to support you. Mo on.
