Doing Sh*t Differently
2 MIN READ
Rebels with a cause, Movember, since its early days, has challenged the status quo, we’ve abandoned the traditional and chosen to walk roads less travelled. And now, we want you to do the same and help pave the way through our new award.

Movember 2013 sees the launch of our Doing Sh*t Differently award. Interested? We’re looking for Mo Bros and Mo Sistas who, in addition to flying the flag for men’s health by growing or supporting the growth of a Mo, are shaking things up and doing things that are a little bit different in their community or work place.

The Doing Sh*t Differently award will allow us to showcase and reward some of the amazing things that the Mo community gets up to each year around the world. So, if you’ve got your CEO to shave his Mo off after 30 years, are forming a barbershop quartette and planning on taking to the streets to perform or running the length of the country, then we want to hear from you.

The winner of the inaugural Doing Sh*t Differently award will be publicly recognised as coming up with the best fund-raising activation of 2013 and flown by Qantas to the London, LA or Australian HQ to meet one of the founders and find out more about what goes on behind the scenes at Movember.

So, to use a well-worn phrase, think outside the box, think noisy, think big and let us know what you’re up to.

The Rules:
  • All entrants must be registered as a Mo Bro or Mo Sista
  • Mo Bros and Mo Sistas need to submit their activations with supporting pictures via email; it will then be reviewed by a Movember panel. Submissions to include as much detail of your Movember activation as possible – like when, where and how many people are involved. The more we know the easier it is to judge.
  • All entries should be sent to havingfundoinggood@movember.com
  • The winning idea must support or enhance Mo growth, never replace it
  • Entries must be received by Movember 30
