Caron is a year 2 Mo Sista and is showing her support for men’s health and the moustache by sporting a Mo for the entire 30 days of Movember! Caron is tracking her journey through her blog, “30 Days of Mo”, posting photos of her moustaches that she will be changing each day. She continues to support Movember and create conversations about men’s health. In 2011, she was able to raise over $1,000 for Movember initiatives, and has already beaten it so far in 2012, reaching a staggering $5,449 and growing!
“The women’s health movement is further ahead of the men’s. Many men help support the women in their lives by participating in women’s cancer fundraisers,” said Caron. “Mo Sistas are often the ones who organize Movember teams or start conversations about men’s health issues and encourage the men in their lives to get their annual health checks.”
