‘Tis the season to grow a mighty fine Mo and the Winnipeg Fire Department are doing just that! Firefighter Justin Smook and his department are keeping their upper lips festive and cozy this month with their newest hairy fashion accessory. Mo Bro Justin first started the Winnipeg Fire Department team back in 2008 and since then his team has been growing both their Mo’s and team members, and are now up to over 70 Mo Bro’s and Mo Sistas!
Last year the Winnipeg Fire Department raised some serious Mo dollars by creating and selling Movember themed t-shirts. In total, they sold over 800 t-shirts and even had their awesome shirt featured on TSN. Not only are these t-shirts a fashionable wardrobe choice, but they are able to spread the word about Movember to those who don’t grow a moustache.
Justin and team also support Movember by creating an annual Holiday card that they send out to all family, friends and supporters. The card is an awesome way to kick off the holiday season by unveiling their finished moustaches alongside their holiday spirit. Movember and team keenly await the arrival of the Winnipeg Fire Department’s 2012 card!
