Saskatchewan Construction Industry Challenge

Our Motivation

Building a Healthier Industry Together.

In partnership between the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA) and the Construction Associations of Saskatchewan, we are proud to launch the Saskatchewan Construction Industry Movember Challenge. This initiative goes beyond growing a mustache—it’s about building awareness, fostering conversations, and making meaningful changes for mental health across our industry.

Our industry has one of the highest rates of suicide, as highlighted by a WorkSafe Saskatchewan report. Many of our peers face mental health challenges but don’t reach out for help. This is something we cannot ignore. Together, we aim to break the silence surrounding mental health, encouraging workers to take proactive steps—whether they choose to MOve (exercise) or Mo (grow a mustache) during the month of Movember.

By sharing stories of strength and vulnerability, we can inspire those in distress to seek help. Through this collective challenge, we hope to create a culture where mental well-being is prioritized, support is readily available, and no one feels they have to struggle alone.

Let’s come together as a united Saskatchewan construction industry to support this vital cause, strengthen our community, and take strides toward a healthier future for everyone in our sector.
