Here I Mo again!
It's Movember! I took the last couple of years off from growing the Mo, because I did not have the energy. Given everything that has happened in the last little bit I felt the need to pick up the conversation around mental health awareness. So I am once again donning the ol' lip sweater, and using Movember as an amplifier for the dialogue around men's mental health awareness and treatment.
According to Movember, this is my 12 year getting fuzzy, and I have raised over $1250 since 2010! Since I like round numbers I would like to raise $250 as my financial goal. Any donation you could make to help support me here would be greatly appreciated!
But wait there's more! I try my best to set another goal for Movember. Most other initiatives are fitness or community based, but I want to challenge myself to really dig into the conversation around my own mental health, and how I can use that to relate to others. Looking at where I could use a tune up I have decided:
That I will give up drinking for the month! Too many of my habits revolve around a negative cycle around drinking, and it's time to break it! So as much as I will be asking my friends and family for donations, I will be asking you all for support as I tackle this challenge!
