Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

11 Years straight. Wow. I wasn't going to participate in Movember this year. I’m trying to maintain a normal life while dealing with the stress of a pandemic and work. I recently had talk with a work mate and realized this is why I do it. Pandemics can bring the strongest to their knees and make the most social people live in isolation. You become something you normally are not, and you begin to stress on things that normally don't bother you. This year Mental Health and suicide prevention are my focus. Not only do I plan to wear my Stache but I also plan on being there for friends, family, co-workers and strangers needing to reach out. Just remember "You are not Alone."

Mo Fact:

Certain triggers can set off your PTSD. They bring back strong memories. They may feel like they are living through their traumatic experience all over again.

How to help someone having a flashback.
1. Tell them they’re having a flashback and the event is not actually happening.
2. Help remind them of their surroundings.
3. Encourage them to take deep and slow breaths.
4. Avoid sudden movements.
5. Ask before you touch them.

Mo Fact:

About 15 per cent of depressed people eventually die by suicide. The risk increases with age, but more and more young people are killing themselves. Some people say that anyone who talks about suicide will not try it. This is not true. Many who attempt suicide have appealed for help first by threatening to do so. Talk to me “You are not Alone”

Mo Fact:

In any given year, 1 in 5 people in Canada will personally experience a mental health problem or illness. It's a lot more common than we think. By age 40, about 50% of the population will have or have had a mental illness. Talk to me "You are not Alone."

"The mustache spoon, was invented in the latter half of the 1800s to allow the man to consume liquids without spillage onto either the mustache or clothing."
Who would use such a thing now or days?

Week one photo update and Mo-fact of the week.

The average one-month old moustache is capable of holding 30ml of liquid or 10 per cent of a glass of beer before leaking its contents down the owner’s face. Going to have buy some Erdingers and try that at the end of the month. Multiple trials necessary to ensure a true scientific result. :)
