My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

The reason I have been growing a Mo each November for the last 13 years is simple - Increasing Men's Health Awareness. This year, I want to focus on Men’s Mental Health. I lost a very good friend to an overdose on December 26, 2021. Even though he had much love around him, he lost his mental health struggle. I have also witnessed friends and loved one's struggles through mental health issues that, in reality, all men and women face at one time or another to some degree. Men in general suck at talking about health issues, especially mental health, so they can get a lot bigger than they should and can lead to devastating issues, including the loss of life. Most of these things can be cured or controlled or helped. So simply, if we all pull together for a month and fund some great causes, we can help save the men in our lives. Together, we can make someone’s life better or easier or let someone know they are not alone, and then WE have done something.
