My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

This will be my 12th year doing Movember, and to be honest I was thinking of skipping it this year. 2020 has been a tough year like I'm sure it has been for a lot of people.

So many canceled holiday plans, isolation from remote working, homeschooling, economic uncertainty, home renovation issues, and trying to figure out how to manage this additional stress when the pandemic has also taken away activities I relied on to maintain my mental health. The Movember campaign is putting resources to mental health and suicide prevention with a goal to to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030 so is my motivation for participating this year.
