My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

This will be my 12th season for Movember. Last season, I raised over $5700 to help find a cure for Prostate Cancer. This disease contributed to the death of my father, Richard Lee. But not without a fight. He was diagnosed in 1999 after going to the Doctor and being screened and tested.
Because he was tested, they found it early. This gave us 15 more years with him. As some sons may know or experience, a relationship with a dad can have its ups and downs. My relationship with my dad was similar to that.
We didn't get closer because of his diagnosis. But it gave us time to work our issues out. It gave me perspective on being a man and, most importantly, how to be a better Father to my children.
My Dad was full of life. I remember the first time he saw my daughter, Alex. His eyes lit up so brightly. When he finally met my boys, he could hardly contain himself. His Grandchildren meant everything to him. I truly wish he had more time with them.
He was active in his community of Trail. An avid Smoke Eaters supporter. He played junior hockey in Manitoba and Senior Men's until her couldn't skate any longer due to knee replacements.
Dad coached my brother, Darrin, and me in baseball and Hockey. Taught us to fish, hunt, and camp.
All of the things you love as a young lad.
I am hoping that you can relate to my story. I believe that every man can have a full life without this horrid disease.
I would appreciate your support in helping me, help support the research for the Prostate Cancer cure.
