My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Today is my Dad's 66th birthday. He passed away from cancer eight years ago on November 3rd, 2016, two days after his 57th birthday. I miss him a lot; he's the reason I started participating more actively in Movember. It makes me feel like I can do something to honour his memory while raising money for a great cause.

I also participate in memory of my cousin, Nathan Mintz, who would have turned 30 this January. He left us on October 27, 2021, due to struggles with mental health which led to his suicide.

To date, I've raised $7168 for men's mental health research. This year I'm aiming to add $1000 to that total. Even more importantly, our team - The Pillsbury Mo-Boys - raised $5415 last year, and is going for $5500 this year. Help us make that happen with a donation.

Movember begins today.
