My motivation

Two years ago, my best friend's dad and a friend's brother both died by suicide in the same month, and in 2017, my cousin died by suicide at the same time that another friend attempted to take their life.

The stigma around mental health is real and I think we are all part of that problem, so I'm doing my small part to attempt a change! I think talking more openly about our mental health is an important step in reducing the rate of suicide in both men and women. We need to talk more about our mental health and start to change the way it is viewed. This is my mission for 2023.
