Dear friends and family,

I've done it! I haven't waited until the very end of November to send a Movember update. Unfortunately my ability to procrastinate hasn't really improved this year. Fortunately, it doesn't really matter when people donate to the fundraiser because the need is always there and the cause is great (as opposed to my attempt at growing a moustache!).

My daughters have now come to expect a hairy upper lip this time of the year and I'm encouraged that they know I grow a moustache for much more important reasons than just style! I am proud to say that we have raised almost $29,000 since I joined the Movember movement 18 years ago.

Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
