My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

This month I will be setting an activity goal of daily movement of at least 30 minutes and for every 10 dollars raised I will run a kilometer. This is to highlight the positive effects of physical activity on mental health.
This year I lost a childhood friend to suicide and there is nothing more painful than believing that something could have been done to prevent it. My hope is to be an ally for those in need and change the perspective on the stigma that can surround men and asking for help.
Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Help me show others that there is resources to help.
