My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

This year we're Made in Movember, bringing it back to men of action - the doers, the makers, the growers of world-changing moustaches. We are Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, locally grown, nationally known, changing the face of me. The Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men's health, so this Movember I'm getting on board. I'm raising funds to tackle some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and poor mental health. Help me stop men dying too young.

Messege from Movember ...

Movember is done and dusted for 2021. From the bottom of our hairy hearts we thank you. With your help, we're shaking it up, revolutionizing research and changing the face of men’s health. We’re stoked to have you along for the ride.

You stepped up to the plate for men’s health and we’re seriously grateful. It’s people like you who make Movember what it is. Thank you.

Testicular cancer is the #1 cancer among young guys. Yet 62% of those who are most at risk don’t know how to check themselves. Good news is it’s easy.

When caught early, testicular cancer is highly treatable and highly curable. In the unlikely event that you’re diagnosed with testicular cancer, Movember has your back. We call it Nuts & Bolts.

The best thing you can do for your nuts is to give them a feel every month or so – get to know what’s normal for you. That way, if anything changes you can act on it.

The rate of male suicide is alarmingly high: in Canada, 3 out of 4 suicides are by men.

WE CAN’T SIT BACK AND ACCEPT THIS.

Movember looks at mental health through a male lens, focusing on prevention, early intervention and health promotion.
We’re working towards a world where men take action to be mentally well, and are supported by those around them.

Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying on average 5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.

A growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 75% of all suicides.

Movember is uniquely placed to address this crisis on a global scale. We fund groundbreaking projects all over the world, engaging men where they are to understand what works best and accelerate change.

Patchy, lopsided, itchy or epic – whatever Mo you grow this Movember, your face will raise funds and awareness for men’s health.

Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – we’re taking them all on.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up research and motivating men to take action for their health.
