My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

Last year Movember was a timely reminder to me how lucky I am to be surrounded by an incredible network of family, friends, co-workers and industry peers. The journey through Movember 2022 helped me absorb the news of my Prostate Cancer diagnosis and realize that by sharing, I could hopefully spark somebody out there to make a decision to get themselves checked out and avert a possible negative outcome of not knowing. It was very therapeutic for me.

I have had many conversations with folks about how I am doing and...

One year later, I am doing fine. PSA numbers are stabilized, MRI was not concerning and I have a couple of visits to the Prostate Cancer Center for "active surveillance" under my belt. My mental health is fine. I consider myself lucky for having caught this thing early. We are lucky to have the incredible resources available to us where we live.

The funds raised can help with much needed research around prostate cancer treatment, and mental health program support both locally and across Canada. Please support the Movember fundraising efforts this year and more importantly, Gents - Get checked out!

Thanks to everyone for the amazing response to date. To the anonymous donors, a big thank you! I have tried to connect personally with each donor but would like you to know how much the support means to me.
Also, an update that isn't getting recorded on the site. I have had 7 men commit to me to get some testing or to follow up on some health related issues. The value of that cannot be measured.
