My motivation

I’ve done Movember before, but this year feels different — because I’m different.

Early in 2024, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. For someone who’s always tried to stay active and healthy, it was a real shock. Just hearing that word cancer and not knowing what was ahead really knocked me back.

A year later, I’m grateful to say I’m doing well. It was caught early and I had a great surgeon. I was surrounded by support — from friends, and other men who’d been through it, and especially from my family, who were there every step of the way. That made all the difference.

I’m not someone who usually shares much about my personal life, but this is too important to stay quiet about. I want to raise awareness and help the next guy who gets that same diagnosis. Please support Movember and men’s health.
