My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Men’s mental health matters — and this marathon is my way of continuing that message.

I’ve lost friends to suicide. I’ve faced my own mental health battles. I know what it feels like to question your purpose, to feel trapped in your own thoughts, and to fight yourself mentally every single day. Those battles are far harder than any physical challenge.

After running a 50km ultra, I knew I wanted to keep choosing hard things — not for personal achievement, but to show others what’s possible when you don’t give up. Now, I’m taking on my first marathon at the Chicago Marathon for the same reason.

This run isn’t about the distance. It’s about showing that your mind is stronger than you think, that you can push through moments that feel impossible, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel — even when you can’t see it yet.

I’m doing this for anyone who feels stuck in the darkness, who feels unheard, or who’s afraid to speak up. It’s okay to talk. It’s okay to ask for help. And you are never alone.

If you’re struggling, my door is always open — whether you’re a friend or a stranger.
