My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

It's not too late for Movember! This charity has two personal meanings for me, being the leader for men's health – in cancer and mental health. On October 2nd, this year I had a Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy at Mount Sinai Hospital, a teaching hospital. I was off work only for a week, when I had planned for two. I wanted to wait for my pathology report on November 19th before sharing my story and I am happy to report that we caught it early and the surgery was successful.
Having lost a sibling to suicide, albeit long ago, it is still fresh. So my second motivation to support Movember is for men's mental health. Sorry, it's too late to dye my moustache blue this year. In fact, this is my "Don't Be Blue" campaign. It might resonate with those happy not to put up with it again this year!
