My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Prostate cancer

This is my 7th year being a Mo-Bro and I am not that good at growing a moustache, so I organize the Movember Golf classic every September as my way of giving back every year. I live in the tiny town of Kincardine, ON and every year they blow me away with support because in just 6 years together we have raised just over $151 000.

Why am I doing this you ask?

I am doing this because I was on the wrong side of the 1 in 7 statistic and was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer 7 years ago at the age of 45. To be honest though....my story has been a happy one so far as my PSA continues to be less then .002 which means I am still cancer free.

I will continue to use my voice to get men to look after their health and break the stigma that you don't have to "tough it out" anymore. It's OK to not be OK.

I do this so that my sons will never have to feel ashamed to speak up when something doesn't feel right.
