My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

I was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer in May 2020, during the COVID-19 Pandemic. What was already a stressful, isolated time quickly became a living nightmare. I experienced a sense of deep loneliness, which other survivors had also mentioned existed in non-pandemic times.

I hope to use Movember as a platform to remove the stigma of men admitting their suffering. I work with the Movember Community and fellow survivors to be a peer support guide on the Nuts & Bolts Peer Support Network (https://nutsandbolts.movember.com/talk-to-a-guide/choose-guide/Darren-V/)
