My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Every month, we hear stories of men taking their lives. Often, friends and family have no idea there was anything wrong. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Let's work together to stop men dying too young.

A friend just made a big donation and told me I should use Rollie Fingers from the A’s as my inspiration. I only wish I could grow ‘em like this!

I was fortunate enough this year to attend a pre-Movember function, which gave me some insight as to how Movember charities work. What struck me was the passion behind the people at Movember and the charities that they support. Please help me and my team in attaining our goal this month.

Well, it happened; I was challenged to do a reverse, mohawk and shave down the centre of my head. That’s been completed, and I’m waiting for my week to end so that I can mow the entire head. I look ridiculous, but the chance to raise it further to $2500 towards Movember, and towards my passion of men’s mental health Overcame I am very smart. Working has become very interesting, as I need to explain why I look so ridiculous quite often.

Day 15, halfway through the month. The itchy stage is finished. Thank goodness! Thanks so much to those of you that have donated and have committed to donate it. Your support means a lot and more than that. It also shows your support for men’s mental health challenges, my main focus.

Day 5! Ever wonder how someone who is used to shaving every day ensures he doesn’t shave off his ‘Stache by accident?Well, I write it in Sharpie on my mirror!

Well, my Mo is certainly starting to raise questions! Great opportunities to talk about men’s mental health

Day 2 of Movember. Things are feeling a bit scruffy around my yet-to-be-seen truckers mo. Why not reach out to a friend that you haven't seen in awhile today and just check in?

Day 21, the itch is very annoying, but I am soooo pleased with the response so far! 9 days and $2400 to go. Help if you can and check out my scruffy progress! Here is a photo from a past Movember

Thanks all for the donations so far. We are not done yet and I urge you, even if you can't support me financially, to check out some of the excellent articles about men's health on the web site. I am a very strong proponent of talking openly about men's mental health specifically. Your generosity to my fundraising, really does go to the organizations that can help to make change!
Check out my first 6 days......lovely, isn't it?

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
