My motivation

I’m running with Team Movember to bring awareness to all things men’s health. There’s a certain stigma to men’s health issues that we are taught from an early age to hide our concerns from the public view. Whether it’s societal pressures or just plain stubbornness, men often do not seek the help they need. I want to bring awareness and spark conversations about physical and mental health so that men all around the world can open up about the struggles they are facing and find the available resources to get the help they need. As someone who has struggled with weight and appearance in the past, I found running and fitness as a way to get my life back on track. Finding other men who faced similar struggles was the first step in my health journey, which lead to meaningful conversations and a sense of accountability to shape the person I am today.
