Hello everyone!
It’s that time of year again! My fellow MO-fficials and I are raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the grandfathers, dads, brothers, sons, and male friends in our lives.

Movember is an annual event dedicated to men’s health, supporting initiatives for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. This year, we’re taking it up a notch as we TRAIN OUR ‘STACHEs OFF, sweating hard, growing harder, and letting our moustaches and muscles compete throughout November.

Every rep, every kilometre, every hair and every conversation helps save lives.

In Canada, cancer is the leading cause of death for men, responsible for nearly 30% of all deaths, with prostate, lung, and colorectal cancers being the most common. Suicide, however, is a significant issue for younger men, as it’s the second leading cause of death among men aged 15-44. Both are crucial men’s health concerns that need awareness and preventive support.

Mental and physical health are deeply connected, each impacting the other, and we’ve all faced challenges in one way or another.

If we truly care about equity and half of the population flourishing, why is it so unpopular or difficult to talk about the challenges being faced?
