My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

Movember.com: "70% of men say their friends can rely on them for support, but only 48% say that they rely on their friends."

Looks like in addition to raising funds to try and improve men's health, we also need to continue the conversation and encourage men to talk about it with whomever they feel comfortable.

My dad recently finished (for now) his treatment for prostate cancer and my father-in-law recently passed from cancer, making this year's fundraising even more important. My husband Mike & I are taking on the Movember-issued challenge of walking 60km over the month, as staying active is the best way to take care of not only your physical health, but mental health as well.
